About the Authors

Sci-Fi/Fantasy Best Selling Author Courtney Shockey tells you a little bit about herself.

Hey there! I’m Courtney, born and raised in Houston, Texas. Mother of 2 two-legged beings and 4 fur babies, married to 1 amazing man. Just a little warning; I’m hilarious in person. I write in several genres and participate in every anthology/collab I can get my hands on. My psycho-thrillers and romantic suspense have such raving reviews. Don’t wait too long to find out what everyone’s talking about! If you would like to know anything about me, just ask. Hope you enjoy my worlds and happy reading.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1977, DJ Shaw was 17 before she was able to see most of the United States. When she was 17, she decided to join the fair, traveling with them to Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Once the fair arrived in Lake Charles, DJ had decided it was time to go home, that she had had enough of traveling with the fair. She much rather preferred to sit around writing, or even telling, the lives of the people who lived in her head. She had been good at story-telling from the time she was about ten, when she scared herself so bad with her story of the Boogey-man that she couldn’t move off her bed. Her siblings would come to her for their scare fix, because they knew she could come up with something on the spot.

Having found what she loved to do at an early age, she continued to write down her stories and any poetry that came into her head. She had stacks upon stacks of notebooks filled with her work. Her love of horror movies made her stories that much more chilling.

When she’s not writing, she’s listening to music, supporting her favorite adopted brother and his band “Traveler in Pain”, playing with her five children, spending time with her husband of seven years or watching horror movies in the middle of the night just for the scare factor.

Joynell Schultz has always strived for an interesting life. From driving a bright lime green SUV, to an everchanging list of hobbies from triathlons, traveling, wine making (even though she doesn’t drink it) to a desire to learn to juggle (that she only secretly thinks about.)

She is a pharmacist by training, but is currently managing the family business of a zoo in Wisconsin. Talk about interesting! From drones aggravating the cougar to the elk in rut. From baby goats being born to adopting a sheep raised in a second story apartment, there’s always something fun going on. And that was just this week!

In the little free time she has, she loves creating interesting imaginary worlds to tell tales of human relationships.

Strong women. Strong words.

Katherine McIntyre is a feisty Irish chick with a big attitude despite her short stature. She writes stories featuring snarky women, ragtag crews, and men with bad attitudes—high chance for a passionate speech thrown into the mix. As an eternal geek and tomboy who’s always stepped to her own beat, she’s made it her mission to write stories that represent the broad spectrum of people out there, from different cultures and races to all varieties of men and women. Easily distracted by cats and sugar.

Laura really needs to get around to writing a better biography. She’s great at doing them for her friends, but not so much for herself. Until then…she’s a USA Today Bestselling Author of Paranormal, Reverse Harem & Fantasy Romance…the romance being the important bit! From kelpies to dragons, and princesses to bakers, there’s a wide range of heroines, with one thing in common: they know how to look after themselves. (But the romance is fun too!)

When she’s not writing, you can find Laura reading, cooking, baking or binge watching one of three TV shows. Or Pitch Perfect. She’s been known to watch that a couple of times in a day.

Fleur Smith is the paranormally-inclined alter-ego of Michelle Irwin. A creator of worlds and destroyer of feels.

Purveyor of words. Creator of worlds. Destroyer of feels.

Once upon a time, Michelle worked in a dreary office with only the voices in her head for company. Now, the voices in her head are characters on the page who will break your heart, lift your spirit, and make you feel like you have found new friends.
